For some time now clients have been coming up to me and asking about what software to use for managing their compliance systems. Clients can see the benefits of using software but are unaware of just what’s out there in the market. They ask me have I seen companies using any software and what are their experiences. Benefits of Cloud Software
So the cloud provides an opportunity to manage compliance using some smart software. Here is what I have discovered with using software for compliance:
1. Data is shown in real time. Spreadsheets are OK to use but become out of date very fast. Cloud software is aways up-to-date and you can rely on the accuracy when make decisions.
2. Faster reporting of accident, incident or improvements. Paper-based forms take a long time to be processed through a workflow. With Cloud software the reports are faster to analyse, investigations and corrective actions are conducted quicker, verification of the corrective actions are recorded every time and reports out of the system are much faster.
3. Documents are always the correct version. Paper-based manuals can be difficult to keep controlled particularly for multiple sites. With Cloud software you always know that the manual is correct and all the forms and checklists are controlled and up-to-date.
4. External audits are easier. External auditors just love Cloud software because it makes auditing easy. No need to shuffle through mountains of paperwork and the like.
